After prayer, meditation and contemplation I record the following:
And a Messenger of Faith, Hope and Love was sent by our Lord and for a brief period an angel of our Lord was in our presence. A blessing for this repentant sinner, for he touched the very depth of my soul. This is the second time that our Lord has revealed His presence, in a profound manner, to this unworthy one, a blessing that I accept.
The first were words spoken by my wife, who had suffered a devastating stroke, words spoken in the early hours of the morning, Good Friday, 1984. When I heard the words it was as if the darkened clouds above opened and the light of our Lord came upon me. Our Lord revealed His presence that would change the course of my life.
And now this angel of our Lord has touched my very being. My faith is reinforced by this Child of God. He is to be my guiding light of faith for the remaining years of my life. A reminder of our Fathers love, mercy and blessings and our Lord Jesus Christ, who is my life, the beat of my heart and His breath of life within... And of the Holy Spirit who’s promptings and urgings I accept.
He was a messenger of Faith who touched my soul.
Blessed is He who comes in the name of our Lord.
And the pain of yesterday is forgotten.
And I rejoice in the joy of today.
For the angel you sent O Lord, is now with you.
The voice in the desert, I have heard.
Praise be to you Lord Jesus Christ

How can one experience the promised peace? To realize ones emptiness is to recognize ones nakedness. Anguish and pain to have known, gifts of the Spirit as well. To be inspired by past and present experiences and experiences of others, of pain and suffering of the past and healing of the present...
I was hungry, thirsty, homeless, naked and you took me in. I was blind and deaf and you gave me sight and hearing and a heart of love and compassion.

The race, I rejoice my Lord. I fail so often and the climb is difficult, yet I rejoice.
Memories, reflections of the past... Formative years of character, of choosing direction, realizing that one is not alone, that in the conscience of man there is a will greater than mans.

I Beseech Thee,
dress me in a gown of radiant white,
a gown of truth,
a gown of wholeness,
a gown of total obedience, of total surrender,

I am not for one but for many. I belong to the Lord and I am very blessed. I sit in and ponder and I am in awe of the Lord. He has been with me at the beginning and end of every mountain that I have climbed. If you do not understand my writings, you must ask God to show you the breaking of the word.
